If the app worked before
- Make sure that your device is still connected to the Internet, a Wi-Fi network or 4G network
- Refresh the page in your browser.
The app should start working again.
If you didn't manage to connect your device to the Internet, try turning on the Airplane mode for several seconds and then terning it off.
If the application does not work properly
Remember to accept camera, microphone and cookie permissions for Sparkup. If you refused the first time, you need to allow them in your browser settings for Sparkup.
If you are regularly disconnected, check your network connection and don't hesitate to switch to a 4G mobile network if the Wifi is not stable.
To remain logged in to your account, you must not be in private browsing and you must not empty the browser's cache memory.
Also on the phone, you and your participants should always log in to Sparkup in the same way. This is because some applications do not use your browser and therefore the login information is specific to the application you are using. So if you close the application window and then try to connect to Sparkup in your browser, the login details will not be remembered.
Examples of cases where Sparkup may not be open in your browser:
- I opened Sparkup by scanning the QRCode with a third party QRCode application,
- I opened Sparkup by clicking on the link in a tool like Slack or Gmail.
If the application doesn't work at all
On mobile phone
- Try using the 4G mobile network instead of wifi to use the Sparkup app,
- Check your browser settings, cookies must be allowed for Sparkup,
- Refresh your browser on the Sparkup page.
On computer
- Check your browser settings, cookies must be allowed for Sparkup,
- Try to connect to another internet connection (either another wifi or a 4G share access),
- Refresh your browser on the Sparkup page.
On computer, if still not working, you can send us your error which appears in red in the console like this:
- On your browser, in the Sparkup window, right click > "Inspect" and select the "Console" tab.
- Refresh the Sparkup page, if errors in red occur in the console, you can copy paste these errors and send them to us at support@sparkup.app.
Make sure you provide the technical staff with the information related to Infrastructure and network before your event.
