Know the live video tool that suits you best
Before starting a live broadcast, it is recommended that you check your audio and video equipment, as well as the software you will need to capture your live event. Then test your Internet connection and bandwidth speed (10Mbits/s minimum recommended).

Facebook live
How to get the video link?
- Go to Facebook and find your video
- Click on Share, then select on Copy link
- Paste the link to Sparkup
Good to know in your Facebook live's settings :
- Live Video Details -> Post details -> audience must be set as Public,
- Settings -> Viewer -> turn off the option to allow participants to rewind so they remain live,
- Settings -> Stream -> select low-latency and turn on the Embed live video.

Jitsi
Secure, fully featured, and completely free video conferencing.
How to get the video link?
You don't need to! This is the simplest way of adding a videoconference meeting in Sparkup. You can directly create a jitsi room in Sparkup.
You select the video source Jitsi and automatically a room is created. By default, Sparkup uses the https://meet.jit.si/ domain, but if you're using your own Jitsi server you just need to replace the domain name with yours.

Linkedin live
The LinkedIn Live feature allows individuals and organizations to stream live video content over their network in real time.
Good to know:
- You must first apply to become a LinkedIn live broadcaster by filling out an application and need to be approved before you can broadcast.
- The maximum stream time is 4 hours.
How to get the video link?
- Go to linkedin and find your live video
- Click on Share, then select Copy
- Paste the link to Sparkup

Vimeo Livestream
Good to know:
To set up your live video, in Vimeo click on the Event Setup button. We advise you to follow this information:
- Embed tab:
- Embed privacy - Anywhere,
- You can look at what suits you best. By default, we recommend that you disable everything except : Playbar, Volume control, Full screen button. You can of course customize your logo and colors.
- Event tab:
- You can find the link of your live video to copy it into your Sparkup session.
- If your link doesn't work, try adding /embed at the end of the link and put this link in the "Others" source of Sparkup. Example link: https://vimeo.com/event/123456/embed

- Go to livestream.com and open your video
- Select Share, then click on copy
- Paste the link to Sparkup

Youtube live
YouTube Live allows you to manage your streaming during a live event.
Good to know:
- You can use a videoconferencing tool that is shared on youtube live so your participants can watch several speaker during the streaming
- Activating a stream for the first time can take up to 24 hours. Once activated, it can go live instantly.
- If you're using a standard account, you don't need anything else.
- If you're using a youtube pro account, you'll need to make sure you have an approved AdSense account associated with your YouTube account or you won't be able to integrate your video in Sparkup (or any other app or website).
Then, to configure your live video, we advise you to follow this:
- Video Confidentiality Unlisted (or public, but not private),
- Option DVR disabled (you want your audience to watch your video live, not with an offset),
- Latency -> choose Extremely low latency,
- Enable Integration must be checked.

- Go to youtube and open your video
- Click on Share, then select copy
- Paste the link to Sparkup

- Go to zoom and open your meeting
- Click on the i button (top-left corner), then click on copy link
- Paste the link to Sparkup

Important: For your information, Zoom meetings' embedded version has some issues, they are working on it. For now, we advise you to use Zoom webinar. If you still want a videoconferencing tool we advise you to use Jitsi or if you prefer Zoom meetings and you're having issues, consider using it with their app directly and not the embedded version (and send the Sparkup link before via email or in directly in Zoom's chat).
